Use an old t-shirt! Cut into 1" strips. Note: Some knits will roll/curl at edges
Stitch long edges together
Tie small knots at the ends to keep from fraying

We are asking crafters who can afford the expense to add a third fabric layer within the mask construction!

SEW SIDES TOGETHER:
Sew around the edges leaving a 1/2 seam allowance and a 3 inch gap on one side.
At the corners, sew back-and-forth to secure the ties in place. Make sure to angle the tie strings in the corners. Take care not to sew any dangling portions of the ties!
Remember to leave an opening!

PLEATS:
Fold fabric to make 3 evenly spaced pleats and
pin into place
Finished adult masks will be 3 inches tall.
Top stitch around to sew pleats into place.
